Taft started working as a local affiliate, and the sideline reporter at Fox Sports North, after earning a broadcast journalism degree from Boston University. While working on sports coverage, she was employed as a social media contributor as well as an call host. Soon after, Fox Sports 1 hired Taft as a reporter in its News and Highlights department. Taft worked for FS1 and was a reporter for many of the notable titles. The reporter reported on these occasions in the air.
